Who is responsible

Trek Africa Systems is responsible for the information you submit through this website. For any question about your information, or to exercise any of the rights described below, contact info@trekafrica.co.za.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry we collect the details you enter: the service you selected, your name, company, business email, phone number if you give one, the market or destination, supply origin if relevant, your requirement, and any timing or budget guidance. Our server also records the time of submission and the network address the enquiry came from, which helps us identify automated abuse.

Why we use it and what we do with it

We use these details for one purpose: to understand your requirement and respond to it. Your enquiry is delivered by email to our business inbox and we reply to the address you provided. We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a marketing list on the strength of an enquiry.

Acting on a request may mean approaching suppliers, logistics providers or partners on your behalf. Where that is necessary we share only what the request requires, and we will tell you if a specific enquiry needs wider disclosure.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are retained in our business email for as long as needed to serve the request and to keep a record of the engagement. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.

Your rights

You may ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@trekafrica.co.za and we will respond. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.

What not to send

Please do not send passwords, identity or banking documents, or confidential information belonging to a third party through this form. If a request needs sensitive documents, contact us first and we will agree a secure route.

Hosting, fonts and tracking

Our hosting provider processes standard technical request information in order to serve the site. Fonts are requested from Google Fonts, which receives the network information needed to serve those requests. This site carries no advertising, no marketing analytics and no third-party tracking scripts.
